Prepare for demolition with dust screens, negative air pressure, and ram board placed over all necessary floors

Plug all drain lines and close all water lines

Remove shower fixtures (shower head & tub spout)

Remove tiles and drywall surrounding the bathtub or shower

Remove tiles (if applicable) and drywall surrounding non-bathing area

Demolition

Replace or move any necessary water lines

Install bathtub or shower pan (if applicable)

Install additional unit for wall-mounted faucet

Plumbing

Rough in wiring for any new lights or outlets

Cut out the subfloor to match the size of the new shower floor

Install new Tile Backer behind the shower tiles

Mud and tape seams, and sand to prepare for a paintable finish

Waterproof shower walls with Kerdi waterproofing system

Waterproof shower walls with Redgard waterproofing system

Install Ditra Heat (wood subfloor) or Ditra Heat Duo (concrete subfloor) and heating cables over floor

Measure floor level and pour self-levelling compound over any low spots as necessary

Set floor tiles with spacers and levelling system

Set new wall tiles with spacers and levelling system

Set new shower tiles with spacers and levelling system

Measure cut and install all pre-painted baseboards

Fill nail holes with quick-setting putty and paint

Install shower door at the entrance to the shower

Full installation of large (> 40 in.) vanity

Includes legal disposal of all waste including drywall and fixtures (measured by square footage of floor space)
